Report: 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt's WWE WrestleMania 36 Plans Revealed

Going back to The Big Dog...

Since capturing the Universal Championship from Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel, 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt has been locked in a rivalry with the former leader of the Yes Movement, Daniel Bryan.

However, this rivalry, according to backstage sources in WWE via Wrestling News Co, is very much a placeholder in the run-up to WrestleMania 36 when Wyatt is expected to go one-on-one with former Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Vince McMahon still sees Reigns as the face of the company, and backstage decision-makers believe it has been long enough since he was at the top of the card. They also doubt he will experience the same fan backlash which has plagued his former title reigns.

Since returning to WWE in March, Reigns has been predominately uninvolved in either world title picture. Beyond a #1 contenders battle royal for the Universal Championship on 15th July episode of Raw, he has focused on more personal rivalries against Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon, among others.

Wyatt and Reigns have previously feuded during their respective times in The Shield and Wyatt Family, back at Elimination Chamber 2014. Wyatt emerged victorious on this occasion. They also feuded throughout the Summer of 2015. Both achieved victories over one another, with Reigns gaining the decisive pinfall inside Hell in a Cell.
