Report: Winner Of WWE WrestleMania 36 Main Event Revealed

At the Royal Rumble, Drew McIntyre punched his ticket to the main event of WrestleMania 36 as he outlasted 29 other Superstars and won the Men's Royal Rumble match. The Scottish Psychopath later chose Brock Lesnar as his opponent for The Showcase Of The Immortals and the two stars will face off for the WWE Championship.

Paul Davis at Wrestlingnews.co revealed over the weekend that the plan is for McIntyre to conquer The Beast in the main event and begin a long title reign. A source within WWE told Davis that Vince McMahon has his heart set on McIntyre winning the match, so there is little chance of the finish being changed.

The source said: "Vince likes everything about him and thinks he represents the company well when he does media appearances. He looks good and talks good and that is what Vince is looking for. Drew has already established a relationship with Vince like most top guys do."

McIntyre's reign as WWE Champion will run into the Summer as well, with the company already having planned out his rivalries until SummerSlam. It has not been revealed who the Scotsman will feud with after Mania, but McIntyre will have The Monday Night Messiah Seth Rollins to deal at SummerSlam, as they are scheduled to feud throughout the Summer.
