Roman Reigns/Samoa Joe Segment, Two Matches Set For WWE Monday Night Raw

The Road to SummerSlam rolls on...

Monday's episode of WWE Raw takes place with just 13 nights to go before SummerSlam. As the card continues to shape up, WWE has announced two matches for this coming Monday's show, as well as a segment involving Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe.

The Reigns/Joe segment is being dubbed a "Samoan Summit", where the two, according to the preview, "...will supposedly hash out their differences and find a way to move forward." This comes on the heels of Reigns defeating Joe in an impromptu match on last Monday's Raw Reunion.

In addition, Seth Rollins goes one on one with Dolph Ziggler. The match preview ties the two together by noting that Rollins was the beneficiary of D-Generation X's backup at Raw Reunion, while Ziggler superkicked Shawn Michaels during Miz TV on SmackDown one night later. Thus Rollins (13 nights before challenging Universal champion Brock Lesnar) will stand up for Michaels by going head to head with old rival Ziggler.

Raw Women's champion Becky Lynch will also be in action, facing Alexa Bliss in a non-title match. Lynch and SummerSlam opponent Natalya got into a scrap on the recent Moment of Bliss, and the WWE.com preview notes, "...it seems as though Alexa Bliss has had quite enough of her show descending into chaos," hence the match.
