Fans of Total Divas are either losing their bananas or throwing many parties right now after it was announced that Lana and Rusev are leaving the show to be replaced by SmackDown Live’s Sonya Deville.
Sonya called into Afterbuzz’s SmackDown After Show to say that she’s “super excited” to join Total Divas and: “I have been through things and I am the person I am for a lot of reasons and I love sharing those stories for the fans because it’s relatable.”
It looks like the cast shake-up isn’t over just yet, as a report from SquaredCircleSirens claims Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey is set to join the divas.
Neither Rousey herself nor WWE have confirmed the story at the time of writing.
The report comes about after it was confirmed by ‘different sources within’ WWE that cameras have been filming footage for the new series of Total Divas at Browsey Acres farm where Ronda and her husband, Travis Browne, currently live.
Recently, Total Divas included footage of The Baddest Woman On The Planet and Nikki Bella training in a full-size ring at Browsey Acres ahead of the pair’s match at Evolution.
