Shelton Benjamin Signs Multi-Year Deal With WWE

He's sticking around...

During an appearance on Lilian Garcia's "Chasing Glory" podcast, Raw brand superstar Shelton Benjamin revealed that he's signed a new multi-year deal to remain with WWE.

Said the veteran, "I just re-signed another multi-year deal with them. So I'm still going to be here for another while."

There's no word at this time on the exact amount of years he's signed for.

Benjamin's current run with WWE was supposed to begin in the summer of 2016, but was delayed due to Benjamin needing surgery on a torn rotator cuff. He officially signed a deal with WWE in August of 2017, and was partnered with Chad Gable on the SmackDown brand.

His most recent appearance of note came in this year's Royal Rumble match, where his decades-long friendship with Brock Lesnar was acknowledged, prior to Lesnar quickly launching him out of the contest.

The 44-year-old made his WWE main roster debut in 2002. During his ensuing eight year run with the promotion, Benjamin held the Intercontinental belt three times, the United States title once, and the WWE Tag Team titles on two occasions with Charlie Haas.
