Spoilers: Main Roster Member Appears At WWE NXT TV Tapings

Ricochet defended his North American Championship against...

The thought of a floundering main roster member making a return to NXT is an issue that has been gathering steam in recent times. Triple H has publically stated his support of those not being used too much on Raw and SmackDown Live heading back to the yellow brand, and at the latest set of TV tapings, one Raw Superstar did just that.

NXT North American Champion Ricochet was set to defend his title at those tapings on Wednesday when it was announced that he would be challenged by a mystery opponent - that opponent turned out to be Tyler Breeze.

The Fashion Policeman - who isn't being used at all now on Raw due to partner Fandango recovering from an injury - answered the call but would lose the match.

Breeze isn't a stranger to returning to NXT despite having a spot on the main roster, as he made a couple of live event appearances earlier this year. The Revival have also done the same. However, when this episode airs, it'll be the first time in three years that the super good-looking man, with every hair in place has appeared on NXT TV.

Making his main roster debut all the way back in October of 2015, Tyler was last seen on Raw on the 15 October episode, losing to Bobby Lashley. Since then, he's been resigned to Main Event Outings - scoring a win over Mojo Rawley, and the reunited Edgeheads along the way.

At the time of writing it's unclear whether this was just a one-off appearance for Tyler, or if he's a part of the NXT roster again full-time.
