Stephanie McMahon Comments On If The Rock Will Be Involved At WWE WrestleMania 37

Could we see The Great One back in action...

On Monday, WWE announced that WrestleMania 37 will be heading back to Hollywood for the second time in the event's history. The Showcase Of The Immortals will be broadcast live from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on March 28 2021.

After the announcement, WWE held a press event at the stadium, in which Stephanie McMahon was asked if we can expect to see former WWE Champion The Rock in action. The Brahma Bull hasn't appeared on WWE TV since Friday Night SmackDown's debut on FOX back on October 4, 2019, and hasn't competed at Mania since 2016 when he defeated Erick Rowan in six seconds.

Stephanie said that WWE and The Rock were always talking to each other, but since the company has to work around Johnson's movie career, sometimes they can work something out, sometimes they can't. While she didn't confirm Johnson will definitely wrestle, McMahon did say that she hopes The Great One will be at WrestleMania 37, but wasn't making any promises.

Stephanie said: "We're always talking to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and hoping he's going to come back. Sometimes it pans out, sometimes it doesn't, but we’re always talking. I think The Rock is the perfect example of what happens when WWE and Hollywood come together, so I hope that he'll be a part of it but I can't promise anything."
