Street Profits WWE Raw Future Plans Revealed (NXT SPOILERS)

NXT Tag Team Champions retained at TakeOver: Toronto...

NXT spoilers within!

Back at NXT TakeOver: Toronto 2 seemingly every member of the watching WWE Universe was resigned to the fact that Street Profits would be losing their tag team titles to The Undisputed Era.

With the pair appearing on WWE Raw since Paul Heyman was hired to his new Executive Director role on Monday Nights, dropping the yellow and gold brand championships seemed to be an inevitability as their transition to bonafide main roster stars continued.

However, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins retained in what was a scintillating opening on the night.

Last Thursday evening at the NXT weekly TV show tapings, Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish defeated Street Profits to win the NXT Tag Team Championships... now, surely, this is the time 'Tez and Dawkins say goodbye to NXT?!

It would appear this isn't on the cards if a recent report from Dave Meltzer is to be believed, as Ford and Dawkins will reportedly continue in the same roles they have fulfilled over recent weeks: "Since people have asked about this and some fans assumed this, The Street Profits losing the NXT tag titles to Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly had nothing to do with the Street Profits being on Raw.  They are remaining as NXT wrestlers even though they will continue with non-wrestling segments on Raw."
