Taynara Conti Returns At NXT House Show, Pokes Fun At Recent Walkout

Acknowledges the story...

Little more than one week ago, reports emerged that Taynara Conti had walked out of NXT last month following some kind of dispute.

At last night's NXT live event in Fort Pierce, FL, however, Conti made her return, indicating that the reported issues may have been quelled, at least for the time being.

Making light of the recent story, Conti wore a shirt that read "RELEASED" in her comeback appearance. She teamed with Jessi Kamea and MJ Jenkins in defeat to Aoife Valkyrie, Mia Yim and Rita Reis.

Conti's walkout took place before the January 15 NXT tapings, after reportedly refusing to take part in a women's battle royal on the broadcast. Sources indicated that the issues leading to her walkout that day may have been financially-related.

Conti signed with WWE in October 2016, and wrestled her first match the following May. She took part in both the 2017 and 2018 Mae Young Classics.

Her most recent appearance on NXT television was in a match against Candice LeRae, which aired on Christmas night 2019.
