The Hart Foundation To Be Inducted Into WWE Hall Of Fame

The Pink and Black Attack will be honored

While WWE has yet to formally make an announcement through their own mediums, PWInsider has reported that the original Hart Foundation will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on WrestleMania weekend.

The original trio, consisting of Bret "The Hitman" Hart, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, and manager Jimmy Hart, remained an act for more than three years, from the spring of 1985, up until the team turned babyface, splitting from Jimmy Hart in 1988. After that, Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart remained partners through WrestleMania 7 in 1991, at which time Hart split off to pursue singles glory.

The Hart Foundation held the WWE World Tag Team titles on two occasions - once from February to October 1987 (as heels, managed by Jimmy Hart), and again from August 1990 to March 1991 (as faces).

Bret Hart and Jimmy Hart have previously been inducted into WWE's Hall, with Bret headlining the 2006 class, while Jimmy was part of the 2005 contingent. They would join Ric Flair as the only individuals to be inducted into the Hall more than once.

This would mark the first induction for Neidhart, who passed away in August 2018, aged 63.

The ceremony will take place at The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Saturday, April 6.
