The Revival File Trademarks For "Top Guys", Among Other Terms

A possible new name?

PWInsider has reported that on Tuesday, February 18, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder filed to trademark three specific phrases that have been associated with The Revival tag team, including the duo's sub-header of "Top Guys".

The other two phrases are "Say Yeah" and "No Flips, Just Fists".

The trademark filing reads, ""G & S: Hats; Hooded sweatshirts; Pants; Shirts" and "G & S: Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes."

Dawson and Wilder have reportedly turned down contract extension offers from WWE, and on two occasions have asked for their release from the company - in January of 2019, and just last month.

Both men's deals are expected to expire in the spring.
