The Rock's Daughter Simone Johnson Training At WWE Performance Center

Could Simone Johnson be the next Great One?

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's family tree and wrestling go together like fish and chips, so it's no surprise to hear that his eldest daughter, Simone, has started her journey to become a WWE Superstar.

During the latest episode of Lilian Garcia's Chasing Glory podcast, SmackDown Live Superstar Zelina Vega talked about how she has become close to Simone in recent times. Vega also revealed that Rock's daughter has been training at the Performance Center in Orlando.

The manager of Andrade "Cien" Almas worked closely with Simone during the filming of "Fight With My Family," the movie about SmackDown Live General Manager Paige's family in the wrestling business. It turns out that Vega's role in the film had a huge impact on Johnson Junior, as following a shoot at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, Zelina was told "I knew I wanted to start wrestling for sure where I saw you at Raw doing the movie” by Simone.

Sources close to Pro Wrestling Sheet have developments on this story, claiming that Simone has been training sporadically over the last few months. However, there are plans to step up the intensity in her training imminently. At 17 years of age, Simone is still in high school, undoubtedly making it harder to find the time to train.

Should Simone join the PC on a full-time basis, she'd be the sixth member of the Anoaʻi family to be in WWE today following in the footsteps of The Usos, Naomi, Roman Reigns, and Rocky's cousin, Nia Jax.
