Two Matches Added To WWE SummerSlam Kickoff Show

Including another title bout...

The 2019 SummerSlam card inflates to 12 total matches, thanks to two eleventh hour additions to the event.

The newly-added matches will take place on the Kickoff show, along with one previously-announced match that was officially dropped down from the main card earlier today.

One of the new matches will see Buddy Murphy go one on one with Apollo Crews. Murphy recently resurfaced in conjunction with the vehicular attacks on Roman Reigns, who himself is not currently part of the SummerSlam card.

Also added to the show is a match for the Women's Tag Team titles, as Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross defend the titles against former champions, The IIconics. Previously, it was announced that The Kabuki Warriors would face Bliss and Cross on Monday's episode of Raw, but now they'll simply face the winners of this match, whomever they may be.

As noted earlier, the Cruiserweight title match pitting Drew Gulak against challenger Oney Lorcan was moved to the Kickoff show, making for a nine-match (as of right now) main card.
