Tyler Bate Pulled From OTT Dead On Due To Injury

Over the Top Wrestling in Ireland announced on Thursday that NXT performer Tyler Bate has been pulled from Sunday's Dead On event in Belfast due to injury.

The promotion tweeted, "Due to recent injury, Tyler Bate will no long appear at #DeadOn. This is unavoidable in wrestling, Apologies #OTT"

There has been no specific report on the exact nature of the injury. PWInsider reports that word of Bate being injured has made the rounds "over the last week or so."

As such, there is no timetable on a return to the ring for Bate.

Bate's most recent match took place on January 31, teaming with Trent Seven and Dan Moloney to face Chris Brookes, Kyle Fletcher, and Kid Lykos II at a Fight Club: PRO event in Wolverhampton.

Sunday's OTT Dead On event will see David Starr defend the World title against Damien Corvin, while Sammii Jayne defends her Women's belt against Kasey Owens. Other names advertised for the event include Trent Seven, Mark Haskins, and Session Moth Martina.
