Tyson Fury Claims Vince McMahon Told Him He's Never Seen Anyone Pick Up Wrestling Like Him

Interesting praise...

Heavyweight boxing star Tyson Fury is two weeks removed from his first foray into the three-roped ring, in which he defeated fellow goliath Braun Strowman via countout at WWE Crown Jewel in Riyadh.

Strowman spoke with TalkSPORT's Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast about a number of topics, touching upon his recent WWE endeavors.

“I have been a fan of WWE all my life," Fury said. "I’ve been a big fan of all the big wrestlers. I am athletic enough to be able to learn quickly."

He also said WWE Chairman Vince McMahon paid him high praise, claiming, "Vince McMahon said he has recruited sports stars from all different sports and he has never seen anyone come into their game, have a couple of training sessions, and pick it up like that. I looked like a natural in there!"

Fury also discussed WrestleMania 36, which takes place after his scheduled rematch with WBC Heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder on February 22.

Fury said of WWE's grand spectacle, "We have left the door open. WrestleMania is coming up in April so who knows – never say never.”
