Update On Kane Returning To In-Ring WWE Action Later This Month

The Big Red Machine vs. Braun Strowman?

Earlier this week it was revealed that Kane is being advertised to make his return to a WWE ring for the first time since that tag team match alongside The Undertaker against D-Generation X in Saudi Arabia.

The Big Red Machine is still, at the time of writing, being advertised for a pair of singles matches against Braun Strowman for the Raw live events in Bossier City, Louisiana on August 23, and Lafayette, Louisiana’s Cajundome the very next night.

However, it would appear those advertisements are a bit wide of the mark as Rob Link, the spokesman for Mayor Glenn Jacobs of Knox County, Tennessee, says The Devil's Favourite Politician is not scheduled to return to a WWE ring this month.

Link told KnoxNews.com: "Just confirmed that Mayor Jacobs has no scheduled appearances at this time."

Kane hasn't appeared in a WWE ring at all so far in 2019 after wrestling 10 matches in 2018 - including, of course, a Universal Championship match against Strowman and champion Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble, no less.
