Worlds Collide Special Set For WWE Royal Rumble Weekend, Will Pit NXT Against NXT UK

One day before the 2020 Royal Rumble at Houston's Minute Maid Park, NXT and NXT UK will square off to determine, for all intents and purposes, the better brand between the two.
Worlds Collide 2020 is set for Houston's Toyota Center on Saturday, January 25, WWE confirmed on Monday.
Tickets for Worlds Collide go on sale Friday, December 6, at 11 AM EST. The event will air live on WWE Network.
All of the top singles champions are confirmed for the event, including NXT Champion Adam Cole, WWE United Kingdom Champion WALTER, NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray. The Undisputed Era and Imperium are also advertised for the event.
Worlds Collide replaces what would usually be an NXT TakeOver as part of a Big Four pay-per-view weekend. This detail came to light when travel packages for Royal Rumble weekend were announced some time back.
The next NXT TakeOver special takes place on Sunday, February 16 in Portland, OR. NXT UK's next TakeOver is scheduled for Blackpool, England on Sunday, January 12.
