WWE Elimination Chamber PPV 2020 Location Revealed

A city known for hardcore wrestling...

Fans who attended last night's episode of WWE SmackDown won't have to wait too long for the company's return to the area.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider has revealed that the 2020 Elimination Chamber pay-per-view will take place at the site of last night's SmackDown, the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

The event is scheduled to take place on March 8, 2020, outside of its normal February home. Usually, the slot four weeks out from WrestleMania has been reserved for Fastlane pay-per-views in recent years, so this is a change from the norm.

This marks the 14th main roster pay-per-view to take place in the "City of Brotherly Love". The last was Extreme Rules this past July.

The traditional PPV calendar for WWE going forward looks like so:

*November 24 - Survivor Series (Allstate Arena, Chicago, IL)

*December 15 - TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs (Target Center, Minneapolis, MN)

*January 26 - Royal Rumble (Minute Maid Park, Houston, TX)

*March 8 - Elimination Chamber (Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, PA)

*April 5 - WrestleMania 36 (Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, FL)

*August 23 - SummerSlam (TD Garden, Boston, MA)
