WWE Files Trademark Applications For Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman & More

WWE Champion will enter this year's Royal Rumble match...

WWE filed trademark applications for several members of their roster last week including WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and his advocate Paul Heyman - two stars who perform for the company under their given names.

Here is the full list of names WWE filed to protect with the US Patent and Trademark Office on January 9:

  • Brock Lesnar

  • Paul Heyman

  • Bobby Lashley

  • The Usos

  • AOP

  • Mojo Rawley

  • Lio Rush

  • Kayden Carter

Interestingly, PWInsider have noted that WWE had a registered trademark for Lesnar dating all the way back to 2003. This filing was later cancelled in 2010. PWInsider also report WWE tried to trademark Lesnar's name in 2016 but that application was abandoned later that year.

As for Heyman's name, PWInsider note WWE tried to trademark it in 2013 but that was later abandoned as well.

This latest filing is also the second time WWE have applied to trademark the names of Bobby Lashley and Mojo Rawley. The rest of the names listed above are first-time applications.

Lesnar will be in this year's Royal Rumble match, entering number one.
