WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg In Talks To Have Retirement Match In Israel

Doubts over whether WWE would allow it...

During his long career, Goldberg has accomplished it all in professional wrestling. He is a three-time world champion, won 173 matches in a row, and is a WWE Hall Of Famer. The former WCW World Heavyweight Champion could even be set for one more title reign as he faces "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt on February 27 at Super ShowDown for the Universal title.

Ahead of his match in Saudi Arabia, Goldberg appeared on The Total Slam Podcast, in which he revealed that he was considering having his retirement match in Israel and had been discussing it with his agent.

Goldberg said: "I'm considering my retirement match in Israel. As a matter of fact, my agent and I talked about that a minute ago and that's a big topic of conversation right now, so its something we're going to consider."

There is seemingly little chance of this happening while the former NFL defensive end competes in WWE, however, due to the company's partnership with Saudi Arabia. Israel's occupation of Palestinian Territories means they do not have formal diplomatic relations with many countries in the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia.
