WWE Issue Statement On Liv Morgan Concussion Injury

Concussion confirmed...

As we all saw on this week's WWE Raw, Liv Morgan was concussed by an errant kick or two from Brie Bella. It was clear from the moment kick pad met face that the Riott Squad member was in trouble as she couldn't get back to her feet. Brie managed to get Morgan over to the corner so Liv could tag out and receive treatment on the outside. However, in a rather shocking turn of events, Morgan was back in the ring later in the match, somehow taking part in a six-way Suplex spot.

Once the bell rang and the match was over, the former NXT star was down on the outside once again with concern raising from her comrades and fans alike.

Late on Tuesday, the news broke that Morgan had indeed suffered a concussion, with WWE providing the following statement to PWInsider on the injury:

“Liv Morgan has a concussion and is going through the proper protocol under WWE’s comprehensive wellness program.”

At the time of writing, it is unknown how severe the concussion is or how long Morgan will be out for. The injury couldn't have arrived at a worse time for Liv, with all three Riott Squad members due to face off against The Bella Twins and Ronda Rousey at WWE Super Show-Down in Australia on 6 October. On top of that, WWE Evolution - the company's first all women's PPV - is also coming up at the end of the month.

Everyone at Cultaholic.com wishes Liv a speedy recovery!
