WWE Releases Tye Dillinger, Hideo Itami, TJP

It's continued to be a busy day for WWE, following the news earlier this morning that Hall of Famer Arn Anderson had been let go after 17 years as a producer.

WWE.com has since confirmed three active wrestler releases on Friday, though two of them were expected, based on recent stories.

Tye Dillinger was officially released, just days after posting on his social accounts that he requested his release. Dillinger had just returned to the ring two weeks ago, after missing four months following hand surgery.

Hideo Itami also received his official release. Itami worked the pre-show fatal four way for the Cruiserweight title at January's Royal Rumble, and reportedly received his release two days later upon his request. However, WWE did not officially confirm Itami's exit until today.

Also gone from the company is former Cruiserweight Champion TJP. For a number of months, TJP had been infrequently used by the company, though he did wrestle on this week's 205 Live, losing to Humberto Carrillo.

Curiously, none of the three release notices contained the custom "best luck in their future endeavors" line.
