WWE Talent And Crew Returns Home From Saudi Arabia

At long last...

It took far longer than anyone would have liked (which is probably putting it mildly), but finally, the remaining WWE crew members that traveled to Saudi Arabia have at last returned to American soil.

The plane touched down early Saturday afternoon eastern time. An earlier report stated that the flight home was scheduled to take off at 3 AM local Saudi time, which was 8 PM EST.

If that itinerary held up, then the delay was in the neighborhood of 20 hours, and flight home would have been roughly 16 hours.

The initial charter plane was originally scheduled to leave early Friday morning local time, but the wrestlers were left sitting on the tarmac due to what were termed mechanical issues.

A handful of SmackDown talents got their own charter flight in an attempt to make it to Buffalo in time for Friday's SmackDown on FOX, but they couldn't get there in time.

Other notable figures made it out of Saudi Arabia ahead of, or possibly amid, the delay, including Vince McMahon, Brock Lesnar, Hulk Hogan, and Ric Flair.
