WWE Told AEW Star Jungle Boy They Would Hire Him: "If You Put On 30 Pounds"
It could have been so different for Jungle Boy...
Although he is one of the most popular acts in All Elite Wrestling as part of Jurassic Express, Jungle Boy revealed that WWE offered to sign him, but only if he gained 30 pounds in weight.
Appearing on the most recent episode of 'WRESTLERS ON THE ROAD ORDERING ROOM SERVICE' on the Being the Elite YouTube Channel alongside Marko Stunt and Luchasaurus, Jungle Jack explained:
"They basically told me, they're like look, if you put on 30 pounds or whatever we will give you a job, but the way it is, its not going to happen, and I was just so bummed that, that is the one thing to get hung up on because I know what I can do and I can do a bunch of stuff. I think there are a lot of guys way bigger than me who are not near as good and it just seems silly to me to get so hung up on that."
Despite this early setback, Jungle Boy, along with Luchasaurus and Stunt, have gone from strength to strength in All Elite, participating in excellent outings against SCU, Lucha Brothers, and most recently, The Dark Order.
