2 Title Matches Set For AEW Battle Of The Belts III
More titles on the line at Battle Of The Belts
Two more title matches have been added to Saturday's AEW Battle Of The Belts TNT special.
Announced on Dynamite was an AEW Women's World Championship match pitting Jamie Hayter against champion Thunder Rosa. The match came about on Dynamite after Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker picked up a win over Thunderstorm, with Hayter scoring the winning pinfall on Toni Storm.
Wardlow will also defend the TNT Championship against Jay Lethal. The former ROH World Champion defeated Orange Cassidy on Dynamite and Lethal, Satnam Singh and Sonjay Dutt beat down The King of Sloth Style until Wardlow made the save. Dutt then demanded Wardlow defend the TNT Title at Battle Of The Belts, which the champion accepted.
Already announced for Battle Of The Belts III is an ROH World Title match between Claudio Castagnoli and Konosuke Takeshita. The event will be taped on Friday, August 5, before airing the following day.
