Absent WWE Wrestler Returns At Live Event

Johnny Gargano hasn't been seen for two months

Johnny Gargano has not been seen in WWE since all the way back in July, with his last match coming on a live event against Omos. Prior to that, his last televised match came on the May 15th edition of Monday Night Raw in a battle royal to determine the number one contender for the Intercontinental Title, in which Gargano came up short.

Following a campaign by Tommaso Ciampa to find Johnny Gargano, in which he has put up posters to help in his search for his former DIY tag team partner and sworn enemy, “Johnny Wrestling” has finally returned. He came back last night at a live event in Uniondale, New York, though it came with a defeat to the giant Omos, who Gargano was previously wrestling on the house show circuit before his absence.

Whether this means an instant return to television is unclear, but all signs have pointed towards a DIY reunion on the main roster for Gargano and Ciampa, who were former NXT Tag Team Champions together during the black & gold era of developmental.
