Adam Cole & MJF Win AEW Blind Eliminator Tournament

Adam Cole & MJF have won the first ever AEW Blind Eliminator Tournament

The first ever All Elite Wrestling Blind Eliminator Tournament has come to an end, with the unlikely duo of MJF and Adam Cole coming out on top, defeating Sammy Guevara and Daniel Garcia on the July 19 edition of Dynamite.

Cole and MJF have gotten on the same page in recent weeks, forming a formidable duo, with the pair getting the win with a long teased old school double clothesline on Garcia, after a bout that included a rare MJF tope suicida, and a bizarre dance off - complete with mood lighting. Pro wrestling is great.

After the match, Cole and MJF were confronted by reigning AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR, with the two teams set to clash for the titles on the July 29 edition of AEW Collision.

For Garcia and Guevara, although they took the loss they have seemingly got a focus on their future, with the two snubbing Jericho Appreciation Society leader Chris Jericho after the bout. Whether the two remain a team remains to be seen, and despite his silky dance moves it’s worth remembering that at his core Garcia is a pro wrestler.
