Adam Copeland Challenges Christian Cage To A Rematch At AEW Worlds End

Adam Copeland isn't finished with Christian Cage

AEW star Adam Copeland has laid down the challenge for a huge rematch at the upcoming Worlds End AEW PPV on December 30 in a couple of weeks time, setting his sights once again on his best friend turned enemy, the TNT Champion Christian Cage.

On a recent episode of AEW Dynamite, the pair faced off for the first time in over a decade in singles action, competing for Cage’s gold. However, following a referee bump, Shayna Wayne (mother of Christian Cage’s lackey Nick Wayne) interfered and attacked Copeland, costing him the match.

Copeland appeared on AEW Collision last night in a backstage promo, firmly putting his foot down and continuing his pursuit of Cage. Despite the shenanigans, he said he had no excuses for his loss, but still remained focused on winning the AEW TNT Championship. He therefore challenged Cage to a rematch at Worlds End, this time with a No Disqualification stipulation attached to it, evening the playing field. Cage has yet to respond.
