Adam Copeland's AEW In-Ring Debut Match Revealed

Copeland's first AEW match has already been booked.

Tony Khan has revealed when Adam Copeland will make his in-ring AEW debut.

During the WrestleDream post-show media scrum, Khan announced that Copeland will take on Luchasaurus on the October 10 episode of AEW Dynamite. The former Edge hit Luchasaurus with a Spear during his surprise debut at WrestleDream.

This will be Copeland's first match outside of WWE since 1998.

The 49-year-old will make his first Dynamite appearance on this Wednesday's show when he speaks to AEW fans for the first time.

Khan noted during the media scrum that The Rated R Superstar is signed to a full-time contract and will be a regular presence on AEW television going forward.

Copeland had previously worked a limited schedule with WWE, which saw him wrestle only a handful of matches per year, the last of which was a victory over Sheamus in the main event of the August 18 edition of SmackDown.

Those backstage in WWE are reportedly happy for the Hall of Famer and it is said that he would be welcomed back in the future, should he decide to return.
