Adam Page Vs. Adam Cole Official For AEW Revolution

The World title is on the line

The AEW World title match is official for Revolution, as "Hangman" Adam Page will defend his title against Adam Cole.

Cole has confronted Page on the last two editions of AEW Dynamite. In the latter instance, Cole made his championship ambitions clear to Page, in a segment that eventually saw Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish attack the champion.

Page won the AEW World title from Kenny Omega on November 13, and has made three defenses of the AEW World title thus far. After going to a 60-minute draw with Bryan Danielson on December 15, Page defeated him in a 29-minute rematch on January 5. Page later went on to defeat Lance Archer in a Texas Death match on February 9.

Cole is the number one ranked contender for Page's title. Since debuting in AEW on September 5, Cole is 11-0 in official singles matches (which excludes his "Lights Out" loss to Orange Cassidy, as those matches don't count in the record books).

Across his last two matches, Cole has defeated Dark Order members Evil Uno and Ten, the latter of which aired on tonight's AEW Rampage.
