All Elite Wrestling and Adult Swim are collaborating once again.
Writer Nic Collins has announced on LinkedIn that he is writing and producing a "new animated project" with Adult Swim and AEW based on the characters from All Elite Wrestling. The project has been written by Collins and is based on a story from Collins and Micah Stahl.
The exact nature of the animated project is unknown, but Adult Swim are famous for shows like Rick and Morty, Robot Chicken, and Smiling Friends. If this means we will get such cartoon shows as Hangman & Swerve in a Tom and Jerry format or Moxley & Friends remains to be seen.
AEW and Adult Swim first worked together in 2019 when Rick and Morty sponsored one of the early episodes of Dynamite. They then collaborated for 2024's San Diego Comic-Con with AEW x Adult Swim Battle for the Booty, which featured a tag team tournament of AEW wrestlers and Adult Swim characters, including Johnny TV, Taya Valkyrie, Orange Cassidy, Willow Nightingale, Rachel, Meatwad, Mr. Frog, and Fang.
Nic Collins previously worked for WWE from April 2025 to September 2025 as a writer and producer on SmackDown. He was also the co-developer and creative producer on The Undertaker's Six Feet Under podcast.
