AEW Backstage Reaction To WWE House Show Going Head-To-Head With Worlds End

What do AEW think of WWE going head-to-head with Worlds End?

People within All Elite Wrestling have been reacting to the announcement that WWE will be holding a house show in Orlando, Florida on the same night as AEW's Worlds End pay-per-view. Sean Ross Sapp reported on a Fightful Select Q&A that the reactions he has received so far from AEW have been, 'Well of course they are' in a derisive tone.

"Based on the reactions that I've got, just a 'Well of course they are' type of thing. Yes, it will affect ticket sales. WWE is a very, very hot ticket right now and it's their holiday tour so that will do good. This is obviously intentional and a concentrated effort and it's a part of competition. It's just the nature of competition and the way things work," Sean Ross Sapp said.

WWE are set to hold a house show at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida on December 28. All Elite Wrestling will hold Worlds End at the Addition Financial Arena only 16 miles away.

WWE and All Elite Wrestling have had a strained relationship since AEW was founded in 2019 and that relationship has only worsened since Triple H first became WWE Chief Content Officer in the Summer of 2022. Tony Khan only in recent days accused WWE of still carrying out contract tampering for AEW talents.
