Blood & Guts III set for the July 19 edition of AEW: Dynamite
When The Blackpool Combat Club and The Elite began their deeply personal war in All Elite Wrestling, we all knew it could only end with one match, and Jon Moxley confirmed our suspicions on the June 28 edition of Dynamite, by proposing BCC vs. The Elite in Blood & Guts.
Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli, and associate Konosuke Takeshita threw down the challenge after beating down The Hung Bucks and Eddie Kingston on Dynamite, with Mox revealing that the violent spectacle will take place on July 19 in Boston, Massachusetts.
The line-ups for the match have yet to be announced, with BCC’s Bryan Danielson currently out of action after breaking his arm during his hard fought submission win over Kazuchika Okada at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II on June 25.
This is set to be the third Blood & Guts match in AEW history, with the inaugural edition in 2021 pitting The Inner Circle against The Pinnacle, whilst the 2022 match saw Eddie Kingston, The Proud & Powerful, and The BCC take on the Jericho Appreciation Society. The first bout was 5 vs. 5, the second 6 vs. 6.
