AEW Bringing Fyter Fest Back, Will Include Jon Moxley Vs. Brian Cage

Moxley's next challenger has been lined up...

During the media scrum that followed last night's AEW Double or Nothing, President Tony Khan confirmed that Fyter Fest will be returning for 2020, and will feature World champion Jon Moxley taking on new number one contender Brian Cage.

The date and further details for the event will be announced on this Wednesday's edition of Dynamite.

Khan also revealed that Fyter Fest was originally intended to take place in London as AEW's UK debut, but that has obviously been delayed.

Moxley retained his World title at Double or Nothing by choking out Brodie Lee in a bloody title match.

Cage, meanwhile, made his debut as the mystery entrant in the nine-man Casino Ladder match. The former Impact Wrestling World champion was accompanied by Taz, and secured the suspended poker chip to become number one contender.

Last year's AEW Fyter Fest took place on June 29 in Daytona Beach, FL. Highlights included Jon Moxley defeating Joey Janela in a "Lights Out" match, Cody Rhodes battling Darby Allin to a 20-minute draw, and Kenny Omega teaming with The Young Bucks to defeat The Lucha Bros and Laredo Kid.
