The AEW Collision taping opened with an action-packed match as Don Callis Family's Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita defeated Powerhouse Hobbs and Tomohiro Ishii, with Fletcher getting the win for his team following two Protodrivers to Ishii.
Max Caster's open challenge series continued in the second match of the night and the former AEW World Tag Team Champion was quickly defeated by Mark Briscoe.
In a preview for the AEW World Trios Title match at Dynasty, PAC defeated Cash Wheeler in singles action following interference. Claudio Castagnoli headed to the ring in the final minutes of the match, only to be cut off by Cope. The brawl only grew after Dax Harwood and Wheeler Yuta made their own way to ringside and PAC secured the win with a Crucifix Pin after Cash took out Wheeler Yuta with a Piledriver. Post-match, FTR and Cope hugged in a show of unity.
Next on Collision, Top Flight picked up a win over CRU before "Speedball" Mike Bailey defeated Dralistico. Ricochet, who was on commentary, sneak attacked Bailey post-match.
