All Elite Wrestling taped the Saturday, September 14 episode of AEW Collision on Thursday night in Dayton, Ohio, with AEW advertising the return of a popular talent and FTR vs. Grizzled Young Veterans for the event. AEW Collision will air in its regular time slot of 8 pm to 10 pm ET on TNT.

The opening contest of the Collision taping saw AEW TNT Champion Jack Perry pick up a win over Christopher Daniels. The second match then saw Mark Briscoe, Hologram and Kyle O'Reilly defeat The Premier Athletes before Wheeler Yuta secured a victory against Anthony Henry.
More trios matches were taped in the middle portion of Collision as Private Party and Komander defeated three enhancement talents before The Bang Bang Gang's Juice Robinson and The Gunns picked up a win against The Gates of Agony and Brian Cage.
The popular Yuka Sakazaki also made her return on Collision, defeating Serena Deeb. Sakazaki had been out of action since April due to a leg injury. Queen Aminata also got back to winning ways on Collision following her unsuccessful challenge for the AEW Women's World Championship, defeating Robyn Renegade.
In the main event, FTR defeated the Grizzled Young Veterans, earning a measure of revenge against Zack Gibson and James Drake for their All In attack. GYV attacked Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler post-match but the babyfaces still ended the night standing tall after the 'Youngest Men Alive' in Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum of The Outrunners made the save.
