AEW Collision Viewership Remains Under 500,000 For August 19 Episode

AEW Collision once again averaged less than 500,000 viewers for the August 19 episode.

Wrestlenomics reported that the episode averaged 482,000 viewers, including approximately 223,000 in the key 18-49 demographic. This was enough to draw a 0.17 rating. Total viewership peaked early, with the opening quarter-hour that featured an angle with CM Punk and Samoa Joe averaging 544,000 viewers. The show peaked in the key demo between 8:45 and 9 pm ET, averaging 241,000.

Collision featured #13 on cable, with the show facing competition from the UFC PPV prelims and NFL preseason games.

Compared to the prior week, the August 19 edition of Collision was up one percent in total viewership from 476,000. Both shows averaged 223,000 in the 18-49 demo.

Beyond the CM Punk-Samoa Joe angle, Collision featured Jay White vs. Dalton Castle, The Gunns vs. The Iron Savages, and a main event of Darby Allin vs. Christian Cage.

Collision on August 19 was below Warner Bros. Discovery's expectations for the show of between 550,000 and 600,000 viewers and around a 0.21 rating.
