All Elite Wrestling produced a strong episode of Dynamite on Wednesday, January 19, with a show headlined by Sting in action and Jon Moxley's return.

The episode also performed well in the ratings and Showbuzz Daily noted the show averaged 1.032 million total viewers and a 0.44 rating in the key 18-49 demographic, estimated to be 570,000 viewers by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.

This was enough for Dynamite to finish #1 on cable, beating two NBA games, and for AEW's flagship show to perform better in the 18-49 demo than WWE Raw.

The January 17 edition of Raw attracted more viewers overall, averaging 1.613 million, but only an estimated 562,000 of those viewers were in the key demo, enough for a 0.43 rating.

Raw did face competition from the LA Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals NFL Playoff game, which drew 23 million viewers across three stations, but Raw was actually up 11 percent in the 18-49 demo from the week prior when it went up against the College National Championship game.

Reacting to AEW finishing #1 on cable, Tony Khan tweeted: "Thank you fans who watched #AEWDynamite last night on @TBSNetwork, our biggest audience since last fall & #1 on cable because support from you wrestling fans! We're LIVE Tomorrow on #AEWRampage @ 10 pm ET/9 pm CT with Mox/Page, TBS Title Jade/Anna Jay, RPG VICE/Young Bucks, + HOOK!"

The January 19 show was Dynamite's highest viewership in 18-49 since September 29 and its highest episode in total viewers since October 6.
