AEW: Dynamite To Air In Usual Wednesday Timeslot This Week

The return of the Wednesday Night Wars...

There was some concern last week that the September 16 edition of Dynamite would be moved to Thursday, September 17 because of TNT's coverage of the NBA Playoffs. However, as the Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Clippers yesterday to force a game seven, All Elite Wrestling confirmed their flagship show will air in it's usual Wednesday timeslot this week.

AEW tweeted: "#AEWDYNAMITE WILL AIR AS USUAL THIS WEDNESDAY 8pm EST on @TNTDRAMA."

AEW taped a one-hour special last week which would have been broadcast following the possible NBA game, but this show is no longer needed. Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter the special will air on September 22 instead but AEW is yet to confirm this is the case.

Scheduled for Wednesday's edition of Dynamite is FTR vs. Jurassic Express, Best Friends vs. Santana & Ortiz in a Parking Lot Brawl, Chris Jericho & Jake Hager vs. Private Party and Thunder Rosa vs. Ivelisse for the NWA World Women's Championship. MJF will also in action against an unnamed opponent.
