AEW are expected to secure a new deal to keep 25-year-old star HOOK on the roster according to a PWInsider Elite report by Mike Johnson, who explains that the promotion "will make sure [Hook] remains with the company".
Johnson also reveals that HOOK has recently signed with prominent wrestling agent Barry Bloom, known for representing the likes of The Young Bucks and Josh Alexander.
HOOK currently finds himself in a prolonged feud with Christian Cage's Patriarchy stable, and has aligned with Samoa Joe and Katsuyori Shibata. The trio recently christened themselves 'The Opps'.
Making his pro wrestling debut in December 2021 with a singles victory over Fuego Del Sol on Rampage, HOOK has only ever wrestled in AEW. He began as a member of the heel Team Taz faction, but quickly garnered a positive response from the crowd. He is now a babyface.
In his time in AEW, HOOK has won the FTW Championship three times, before retiring the title which was initially created by father Taz. He's also feuded with the likes of Jack Perry and Chris Jericho, defeating the latter at last summer's All In: London show at Wembley Stadium.
