All Elite Wrestling could be set to sign another talent, this time from New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
Fightful Select has reported that Clark Connors is expected to sign with AEW imminently. The promotion has already made him an offer, with a contract due to be finalised in the near future.
Connors has made sporadic appearances for All Elite Wrestling since 2022, and he made his return to the promotion on the January 31 episode of Collision where he dominated the match with Darby Allin before ultimately losing. Post-match, Connors helped his Unbound Co. stablemate Gabe Kidd take out Darby.
Clark Connors has been a part of New Japan since 2018, joining the promotion as a young lion. Connors joined Bullet Club in 2023 and he is a two-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion with Drilla Moloney.
Connors' NJPW deal was believed to be expiring in January. AEW sources noted to Fightful that Connors' pending contract likely indicates AEW have an increased interest in David Finlay, the former Bullet Club leader who had his NJPW contract expiring in January 2026.
Should Connors put pen to paper with AEW, he would be the 12th wrestler to sign with the promotion in 2026 following Jake Doyle, Andrade El Idolo, The Rascalz, Mascara Dorada, Persephone, Alec Price & Jordan Oliver, Zayda Steel, and Tommaso Ciampa.
