AEW Grand Slam 2023 Set For September 20

AEW Grand Slam returns on September 20

After much speculation, All Elite Wrestling have officially announced their return to New York’s Arthur Ashe Stadium, with the third annual Grand Slam set for July 20.

The return to Queens, New York was announced on the June 28 edition of Dynamite, before AEW sent out a Tweet giving more details of the upcoming show:

“NEW YORK CITY! #AEW returns to the historic Arthur Ashe Stadium for one of the biggest nights of the year: #AEWDynamite Grand Slam LIVE & #AEWRampage Grand Slam on Wednesday, September 20th! Tickets will go on sale Saturday, July 22nd at 10am ET!  http://AEWTIX.com”

Although the Tweet mentioned ticket sales would begin on July 22, the official graphic stated an on-sale date of July 28.

As with the first two Grand Slam events, AEW will broadcast a live edition of Dynamite and will follow-up with a Rampage taping session.

The 2022 show featured the in-ring debut of hip-hop star Action Bronson and an appearance from the legendary Great Muta, whilst the inaugural edition in 2021 featured a long awaited match-up between Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson.
