AEW Grand Slam Ticket Sales Surge Following Media Blitz

AEW Grand Slam tickets have been moving

All Elite Wrestling had a big day of ticket sales on Tuesday for Grand Slam.

Tickets distributed was sitting around 7,493 heading into the show but a media blitz over the weekend and this week from the likes of MJF and Tony Khan led to a surge in ticket sales on Tuesday to record the largest day of ticket sales so far, according to PWInsider

WrestleTix noted in their latest number that 8,636 tickets had been distributed for Grand Slam as of Tuesday night. Grand Slam will emanate from New York City's Arthur Ashe Stadium on Wednesday, September 20. The Dynamite portion of Grand Slam will air live before Rampage Grand Slam is broadcast on Friday night.

Ticket sales are still down from 2022's 12,600 paid attendance. The inaugural Grand Slam in 2021 drew an attendance of 20,177.

Headline matches at AEW Grand Slam include MJF vs. Samoa Joe for the AEW World Title, Chris Jericho vs. Sammy Guevara, and Sting & Darby Allin vs. Christian Cage & Luchasaurus.
