Following initial reports which revealed that over 35,000 tickets had been sold during the first nine hours of the AEW All In presale on Ticketmaster, Tony Khan provided an updated number, revealing that 36,000 tickets were sold on the first day.
The ticket sales brought in £3.8 million for the promotion.
Khan tweeted: "Today's one of the best days in @AEW history. Thank you to all buying #AEWAllIn tickets today, off to an AMAZING start already 36,000 sold for £3.8M ($4.7M) + we're only getting started, more great seats are going on-sale! Let's celebrate TOMORROW on Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite."
This means All In is already the biggest event in AEW history for attendance and gate. The event will take place on Sunday, August 27 at Wembley Stadium in London, England. The Ticketmaster presale will remain ongoing until Thursday, May 4 when a Live Nation presale will begin. Tickets for All In go on general sale on Friday, May 5.
The seat map for All In suggests the event is set up to hold 90,000 fans. Tony Khan denied AEW had only booked the stadium to hold 40,000 and called out WWE CEO Nick Khan over the claim from an ESPN journalist.
