AEW Plans For Will Ospreay Vs. Bryan Danielson Revealed

AEW will be holding Bryan Danielson vs. Will Ospreay

Bryan Danielson vs. Will Ospreay will be taking place "relatively soon" in All Elite Wrestling, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio. When exactly the match will be taking place has not been confirmed but AEW's next pay-per-view, Dynasty, is set for April 21 in St. Louis.

"That match is happening relatively soon. I have been told that it's something Tony Khan has been wanting. It's like the dream match of all dream matches probably for him. But this match is happening. I presume it's going to be on the St. Louis pay-per-view on April 21. And Eddie Kingston vs. Okada and Swerve vs. Joe, and probably the finals of the tag team titles tournament too," Meltzer said.

Bryan Danielson and Will Ospreay had a face-off to end the March 6 episode of Dynamite following Ospreay's win over Kyle Fletcher in the main event. Reports noted back in 2021 that Bryan Danielson really wanted to work with the then-United Empire leader. The two men have never faced each other in singles action.

Will Ospreay officially began his full-time run in All Elite Wrestling in late February, making his in-ring return at Revolution where he defeated Konosuke Takeshita. Bryan Danielson unsuccessfully challenged Eddie Kingston for the Continental Crown Title at the same pay-per-view.
