AEW Producer To Challenge For NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title

An AEW executive challenging for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title

All Elite Wrestling's President of Talent Development Pat Buck will have the opportunity to become a world champion next month.

It has been announced that Pat Buck will challenge EC3 for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship at WrestlePro's event from the Rahway Recreation Center in Rahway, New Jersey on Sunday, October 22. Pat Buck is a co-owner of WrestlePro.

Pat Buck has wrestled a handful of matches since departing WWE for AEW in 2022. Outside of WrestlePro, he has performed at AEW house shows, as well as on a recent episode of ROH TV where he sustained a loss to Tony Nese.

EC3 has only been NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion since his win over Tyrus at NWA 75 on August 27. Tyrus was forced to retire due to the loss.

Another AEW executive in QT Marshall will also be in action on October 22 for WrestlePro. Marshall will defend the AAA Latin American Championship against Gringo Loco at the event. Also on the show is the annual On The Spot Title Shot Rumble.
