SPOILERS AHEAD

The burgeoning war between The Conglomeration and The Learning Tree continued, with Conglomeration’s Mark Briscoe taking on Learning Tree ‘Bad Apple’ Bryan Keith in singles action. The ROH Champion emerged with a win, but ended up on the receiving end of a Chris Jericho beatdown for his troubles, Jericho attacking Briscoe with trusty Floyd the bat.

Wheeler Yuta got a submission win over The Butcher ahead of his upcoming AEW Trios Championship defence at grand Slam IV, Yuta remaining focused despite the current turmoil surrounding his professional life with the Blackpool Combat Club.

In AEW’s women’s division, former AEW World Champion Hikaru Shida picked up a win over Harley Cameron, before being jumped by Cameron and Saraya. Shida was soon saved by Jamie Hater, before  Hayter challenged Saraya to a match at Grand Slam. Elsewhere, a vignette aired for Deonna Purrazzo.

In the men’s tag division, Roderick Strong and The Beast Mortos defeated local talent Joe Keys & Marcus Mathers, whilst the MxM Connection stole Max Caster’s jacket in what was likely a service to high fashion. In the last match of the session, Nick Wayne was victorious against Rocky Romero, Lio Rush, and Kip Sabian in four-way action
