Wrestling promotion St Louis. Anarchy has revealed that All Elite Wrestling has reimbursed them after having to pull Daniel Garcia from their show on Friday 20 August.

Garcia was due to wrestle at the event this Friday but St Louis. Anarchy announced on Monday afternoon that the 22-year-old would no longer be at the show and the card would be changing.

Garcia himself took to social media to apologise for the late change and said he hoped to make it up to fans by being at an event in the very near future, before St Louis. Anarchy revealed that AEW had reimbursed the cost of the travel that the promotion had paid to take Garcia to the event on Friday.

They wrote: "Shout out to @AEW for reimbursing us on travel we had bought Garcia for Friday. Not a lot of bigger companies would of done that. The purpose of us is to get talent ready for them.  We wish Garcia the best and hopefully we see him in Anarchy soon."

With AEW Rampage: The First Dance set for Friday, it is possible that Garcia is now required for the show in Chicago.

Garcia has featured on AEW programming in recent weeks and wrestled Darby Allin on last week's episode of AEW Dynamite.
