AEW Revives Former Feud On Dynamite

A former feud is coming back for another chapter on AEW TV

A highly popular feud within All Elite Wrestling will have another chapter written about it in the coming weeks and months.

After four months off AEW TV, Wardlow returned on the October 4 edition of AEW Dynamite and the three-time TNT Champion has returned to his demolition ways, having made quick work of Griff Garrison, Matt Sydal, and Ryan Nemeth over the past three weeks in a combined two minutes and 17 seconds.

Wardlow hasn't said much since his return but following his win over Ryan Nemeth on October 18, Tony Schiavone asked Wardlow what he was back in All Elite Wrestling for. The 35-year-old didn't say anything and simply displayed his wrist tape which read "MJF".

Wardlow then performed a horrific act as he barged past Tony Schiavone, sending the popular announcer tumbling to the mat as the arena in Rosenberg, Texas filled with boos.

Wardlow was previously MJF's muscle from late 2019 until he finally turned on Maxwell Jacob Friedman at Revolution 2022. They then had a popular feud and Wardlow was arguably the most over babyface in the whole company until their match at Double or Nothing 2022 where Wardlow promptly squashed MJF.

The match was somewhat overshadowed by backstage drama, though, which saw MJF no-show the Double or Nothing fan fest over his unhappiness with the company in a situation that was later turned into a TV angle.
