AEW's Angelico Sidelined With Injury

The HFO star last wrestled on December 3 2021

AEW’s Angélico has revealed that he has been sidelined with an injury.

After teasing some pending career news, Angélico took to Twitter to disclose the reason for his prolonged absence:

“Official Announcement: Unfortunately the bad news is I can confirm the rumours. I suffered a torn ACL and meniscus at the end of 2021. The good news as you can see below, is that my recovery is well ahead of schedule and my return to the ring is just around the corner!”

Angélico posted a video of himself undergoing some unorthodox rehabilitation and training practices, suggesting that he is on course to make a return sooner rather than later.

The Hybrid2 and HFO member has been absent from AEW TV for most of 2022, with his last match coming on AEW: Dark on December 3 2021. A former AAA World Tag Team Champion with Jack Evans, Angélico joined AEW in May 2019 alongside Evans, with the pair debuting at Double or Nothing 2019, in a loss to Best Friends.
